SME EnterPRIZE is a flagship project designed to promote a culture of sustainability among European SMEs. It aims to inspire SMEs to develop sustainable business models and stimulate the debate on the topic. Generali, continental Europe’s largest insurer, is behind the initiative.
Generali is searching for the “Sustainability Heroes”: SMEs who have implemented notable sustainability initiatives in their business activities that can become inspirational models for fellow entrepreneurs and be sustainability ambassadors.
The pan-European initiative sees the “Sustainable Heroes” given visibility at a dedicated event held in Brussels in the Autumn. Previous editions have seen the attendance of senior European policymakers, academics and the media. This year’s edition focuses on Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia and Portugal.
