Von der Leyen: 25% reduction of reporting burden – How the EU can boost the competitiveness of companies

EU-Commission President Ursula von der Leyen proposed on March 15th during her speech on the preparation of the European Council meeting of 23-24 March 2023 to reduce the reporting burden of European companies by 25%. We think that given the current “polycrisis”, the European Commission should analyse and deliver in 3 central areas of action.

Let’s help Turkey now!

We are deeply saddened by the terrible earthquake that destroyed 10 Turkish cities last Feb. 6th, where tens of thousands of people have died or been seriously injured. Many have lost their homes and are now without shelter and essential services in the cold winter temperatures.
In cooperation with our partners in Turkey, the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board DEIK, and in the name of our members, the business association MÜSIAD and the Science and Technology Park of Ankara Middle East Technical University Teknokent, we are supporting donations for the people affected.

Eurojuris Launches GDPR Helpdesk for SMEs

Our member Eurojuris, representing SMEs in the legal sector across Europe and beyond, has launched its GDPR helpdesk for SMEs. It is a database of experts on the General Data Protection Regulation who can be contacted by companies to receive legal advice on how to approach their data protection.
