The “Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association” (MÜSİAD) was founded in 1990 in Istanbul by concerned businessmen dedicated to the realization of a Turkey where human rights and the rule of law, justice and equality, peace and security, the welfare and happiness of the people are guaranteed.
MÜSİAD provides a “Platform for Development-Dialogue, Cooperation and Solidarity” to contribute to the all-encompassing development of individuals, companies, institutions, in Turkey and in the rest of the world. MUSIAD is a strong “Civil Society Organization”, which has more than 11.000 member organisations and companies in Turkey and abroad, representing 60.000 single enterprises, employing over 1.8 Million people, with 84 contact points in Turkey and in 81 different countries, in total 165 contact points all over the world, communicating its recommendations to public institutions and organisations in place.
