The SME Summer Party 2019 that took place on the 9th July on the rooftop terrace of the Residence Palace in Brussels was a great success!
We thank our many keynote speakers: Commissioner Günther Oettinger, MEPs Katarina Barley, Markus Ferber and Reinhard Bütikofer, but also all other MEPs and guests that made the evening very special! And of course, last but not least, our President, Prof. Dr. h.c. Mario Ohoven!
We were also delighted to announce our new member, the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Katowice, represented by Mrs. Marlena Miasko, in charge for International Relations. It is the most active chamber in Poland, organising each year the European SME Congress that gathers thousands of participants.
One highlight of the evening was surely the concert of internationally known and experienced Tenor Fabio Andreotti and Brussels-based Soprano Talar Dekrmanjian. It enchanted the guests, showing that discussions on the EU and SMEs and artistic endeavours are closer than anyone could imagine
We would also like to extend very special thanks to the students of the Languages High School Giacomo Leopardi in Macerata which did a great job in helping us: Gemma, Alessia, Elisa, Valentina, Simone, Lorenzo and Marta (who took the many photos displayed below)!
