With the ambitious Green Deal , the European Union has set the goal of making Europe climate neutral by 2050. This goal goes far beyond what is conventionally understood by environmental policy. For the next decade, this program will set the framework for almost all policy fields. The goal is therefore more holistic and presupposes that this sustainable growth strategy ultimately includes all social and economic areas.
The impact of the Green Deal on municipalities, but also on companies and society at large, was the topic of this event of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, in collaboration with BVMW and DStGB. It took place on December 10 at 09.30 am.
The Deputy Chairman of the BVMW Commission on Energy and Sustainable Economy, Prof. Eike Weber, as well as our Managing Director Stefan Moritz spoke on behalf of the German and European SMEs. The Commission President Ursula von der Leyen opened the event.
